Privacy Policy

The Short Version

TipityTools is a collection of client-side browser tools. All processing happens in your browser. Your text, files, and data are never sent to our servers. We have no user accounts, no login, and we do not store anything you enter into any tool.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Any text you enter into tool inputs
Any files you drop or select (e.g., images for the resizer)
Any output generated by our tools
Account information (there are no accounts)
Passwords or cryptographic keys

2. Data We May Collect

Server logs: Standard web server access logs may record your IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, and the page you requested. These logs are used for security monitoring and are automatically purged. We do not sell or share them.

Service Worker: TipityTools registers a service worker for PWA installation. The service worker is network-only — it does not cache any of your data.

3. Advertising

TipityTools displays banner advertisements served by CleanMedia / SecureAdDisplay. These ads may use cookies or device identifiers to serve interest-based advertising. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser settings or the NAI opt-out tool at optout.networkadvertising.org.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

TipityTools itself does not set any cookies. We use sessionStorage only to remember whether you dismissed the PWA install banner (key: tt_pwa_dismissed). This value is cleared when you close your browser tab.

5. Third-Party Services

CleanMedia / SecureAdDisplay — Ad network. See their privacy policy at cleanmedia.net.
Google Cloud Run — Hosting infrastructure. Google may log request metadata per their Cloud platform terms.

6. Children's Privacy

TipityTools is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
