Privacy Policy

The Short Version

This policy covers the TipityTools website and Android app. Tool processing happens locally in your browser or on your Android device. Your tool inputs, selected files, and generated outputs are not sent to our servers. We have no user accounts or login.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Any text you enter into tool inputs
• Any files you drop or select (e.g., images for the resizer)
• Any output generated by our tools
• Account information (there are no accounts)
• Passwords or cryptographic keys

2. Data We May Collect

Server logs: Standard web server access logs may record your IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, and the page requested. These logs may be processed for hosting, reliability, abuse prevention, and security. We do not sell them.

Service Worker: TipityTools caches the application shell and previously visited same-origin pages and assets so the tools can continue working offline. Tool inputs and generated outputs are not added to this cache. Advertising and all other third-party requests always use the network and are never cached by our service worker. You can remove stored application files at any time through your browser's site-data controls.

Android app: Google Play may provide standard crash and performance diagnostics. Google Mobile Ads may collect device or advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Where required, the app uses Google's consent platform before requesting ads.

3. Advertising

The website displays banner advertisements served by CleanMedia / SecureAdDisplay. The Android app displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. A small number of advanced tools in the Android app are locked by default and can be unlocked permanently, on that device, by watching one optional rewarded ad per tool. These providers may use cookies, device identifiers, or other signals to serve and measure ads. You can limit ad personalization through your browser or Android privacy settings.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

TipityTools itself does not set advertising cookies. The website uses sessionStorage for its install prompt and localStorage for recently used tools. The Android app stores favorites, recent tools, and which tools have been unlocked via a rewarded ad, locally on the device. These records never contain tool input or output and can be removed by clearing site/app data or uninstalling the app.

5. Third-Party Services

• CleanMedia / SecureAdDisplay — Ad network. See their privacy policy at cleanmedia.net.
• Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform — Android advertising, measurement, and consent management.
• Google Play — Android app distribution and optional diagnostics.
• Google Cloud Run — Hosting infrastructure. Google may log request metadata per their Cloud platform terms.

6. Retention and Deletion

Tipity Labs does not retain tool inputs, selected files, generated outputs, or account data because the tools do not transmit them to us and there are no accounts. Local browser and app preferences remain until you clear site/app data or uninstall the app. Server logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for hosting, reliability, abuse prevention, security, and legal compliance. Advertising, hosting, and distribution providers retain data under their own policies. Privacy or deletion questions may be sent to support@tipitylabs.com.

7. Security

Tool processing is designed to remain in your browser or on your Android device. Network communications use HTTPS or the transport security provided by the applicable third-party service. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

TipityTools is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through a third-party service used by TipityTools, email support@tipitylabs.com so the concern can be investigated.

9. Your Choices

You can clear browser or app data, uninstall the Android app, reset or delete your Android advertising ID, and limit ad personalization. Where required, Google's consent message provides advertising privacy choices. You may contact support@tipitylabs.com with privacy questions or requests.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the Service, its providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified by the updated date shown above.
